With the rainy weather comes boredom and with boredom comes cooking. So, this week I made German Potato Soup (enough for an army) and another day, Schnitzel (also enough for an army). The photos above display a dinner of the German Potato Soup, Schnitzel Sandwich Cheese Melt (before melting the cheese), an omelet and to wash it all down a Beck's Beer!
This wet/rainy weather has to stop or I will need twice the number of dogs to pull me around next Winter!
Saturday night there was a "Supper Moon" that I captured on the above photos. This Supper Moon didn't look any different than a regular Full Moon here.
Finally the last set of photos were taken this morning proving we do get nice weather here as well.
This week the Swallow returned to their nesting place at the peek of the garage, the Loon returned to the lake, a Robin was spotted and this morning, I heard the first of the returning Canada Geese.
SPRING HAS NOW OFFICIALLY ARRIVED!
The dogs are playing & enjoying the start of their "off season". Halona has learned how to knock her house over and thus getting me to go out to upright it. This way she gets extra attention. She is too intelligent!
There is an opening for another person as a Handler/Trainee for this coming Racing Season of 2012/13. Please refer to the Handler/Trainee Page for more information. If anyone is interested, please contact me ASAP as the position usually is filled quickly.
Until next week.......
