How TDF Got His Name!

One evening back when I lived in Ontario, I was training my dogs on a country road just outside of the town of Milton.
I would park and hook up my dogs to a training cart in a church parking lot that was on a country/dirt road.
A neighbour, from across the road from the church, was inquisitive and came across to see what I was doing.
We ended up being good friends and he would accompany me and the team on its training runs.
One night, after we finished the run, I asked him to watch my Lead Dogs as the female was in Heat ( ready to be bred) and I didn't want an untimely breeding with her male counterpart. So I asked my friend to keep an eye on the two leaders as I went to get the water to give them a drink after the run.
When I came around from the back of the truck and approached the front of the team, I saw the two leaders were breeding!
I forgot to mention to my friend not to let them breed and not just watch them!
My mistake!!!
So from then on he had a nickname TDF (Two Dogs F--king).
A reminder to be very specific of what you want when communicating!
