It was a week of weather extremes here at Miortuk with snow earlier in the week, 27 hours of rain starting Thursday afternoon and then turning to wet snow late Friday afternoon.
However, there is only a minimum amount of snow so far this season.
Very unusual for the end of November!
Luckily, we got some snow on Friday, after all the rain, as temperature fell to minus 12 overnight.
Hopefully, we get some more snow soon as the training trails are getting unrunnable.
On Thursday before the rain, we had an opportunity to practice both "overtake" and "Head-on" passing. Kira and Yoda were at lead on the "B" Team when we encountered the other teams. They did a supper job with their first experience passing.
Earlier in the week the early morning training was spectacular with clear, sunny skies.
Life couldn't be better!

With all the crazy weather, we were able to get in four days of training.
