Yes, the Black Flies have arrived and they are enjoying their return. However, no one else is. They will be here until the first of July. That's life here in the forest.
Also, the internet is back up & running after a 10 day interruption. This explains the lateness of posting the blog.Sorry about that!
The roofing was completed on the 13th & it looks great.
NO MORE LEAKS!
The dogs are relaxing in the warmth & with the help of "SWAT", a topical medication, they are not being bothered by the Black Flies. This is a welcome relief for both them & me.
Above are some photos of last years puppies at 11 months of age. It is incredible the changes in such a short time.
Teal is showing no signs of being pregnant with only three weeks to go before her due date. So, at this point, I am not sure about puppies this year?
I am building a new puppy whelping pen just in case we do have puppies. The old one was basically destroyed after 4 litters chewing away at the plywood.
Teething can be hazardous to the housing.
