We had some stormy weather here this week with a violent (luckily short in duration) storm with thunder, lightning, strong winds & heavy/torrential rain.
The rain was whipping the chalet from all directions at the same time.
Again, we were lucky with only a few downed trees and no hydro interruptions
The above photos are from another storm last week showing some weird looking sky. The dots on the photos are from the rain.
The work on the new dog houses is continuing with the cutting of the individual components for assembly later. I have decided to oil the surfaces to preserve & water proof the houses instead of paint. This will give the houses a nice natural finish that will blend in nicely to the forested kennel setting.
The other big story is the birth of Frodo & Tanya's puppies that are due on the 30th of July. However, they might be born early as Tanya is getting very restless tonight showing signs she could go into labor earlier than expected.
