Yes, snow arrived here over Sunday night into Monday morning making for beautiful training runs. The dogs were excited to be running on snow!
Unfortunately, it didn't last and rain with freezing temperatures overnight made for poor trails until Thursday. Rain with strong winds were the fare for Friday, resulting in a lot of damage, downed trees accompanied by Hydro outages. However, Saturday the conditions were fine to train.
Luckily with all the damage around us, we were spared here.
We are continuing to swap dogs into the "A" Team looking for the twelfth dog best suited for the team. The "B" Team, which is comprised of 5 rookies, is also coming together and starting to perform as a unit.
On Friday, due to the forecast of poor weather, we decided to do our monthly shopping trip for the meat for the dogs and our provisions as well.
Friday shopping with masses of humanity struggling to survive through frenzied chaos.
