"WINTER HAS RETURNED TO THE NORTHERN FOREST!"
Yes, Winter type conditions returned here on Saturday with an all day snow fall resulting in 4" accumulation.
Then this morning we awoke to see the lake had frozen over again after last weeks thaw due rain on Wednesday. Hopefully the forecast for this week is wrong as they are calling for more mild temperatures and some rain on Monday & Tuesday.
It was a good week for running the dogs getting in another 4 day/2 teams /day schedule. The new yearlings ( Cobalt & Teal ) are fitting in great with the other dogs and performing well in the team. Kara is working with the 2 pups taking them out on leash with a harness on them. On the return trip, when they are pulling to come home, she attaches the leash to the harness so they get used to pulling.
