"NATURES BEAUTY ON CHRISTMAS MORNING IN THE NORTHERN FOREST!"
Yes, Mother Nature decorated the trees here for Christmas Morning. The scene was absolutely beautiful with the trees laden with a heavy, feathery frost coating.
It was also a great week for training getting in four days of running ( 2x8 mile & 2x4.5 mile runs). This is getting close to the time when I will be picking the dogs for this years racing team. This will be a tough decision. However, it is now time to run this years team as a racing unit.
We have had some mix precipitation and warm weather the last few days. Luckily, we have had more snow than freezing rain keeping the trails in good shape. Unfortunately, the ice on the lake is still not safe for crossing; necessitating having to truck the dogs to a safe area to train with the sled.
