We also had a couple of nice days with some sun & warm/humid temperatures.
The frogs are continuing their nightly mating songs along with the Loons. The evening through to early morning is filled with their rhapsody only to be replaced by the cooing of the Morning Doves. With the arrival of more species of birds, the increased activity of the wildlife and the budding growth of the vegetation, the forest is a very busy place.
This weekend also marks the start of the Summer Cottagers migration to the forest.
The dogs are getting used to all the changes, the new noises and smells and are adjusting to the new environment for the Summer Months.
In a short three months, we will start running/training again for another Winter Season!
Cobalt is gaining weight and filling out around the rib cage indicating a good possibility of puppies.
Until next week.........
