" FINALLY, A NICE SPRING WEEK HERE IN THE NORTHERN FOREST!"
It was a nice week here with some beautiful sunny days and warm temperatures.
Spring activities are continuing with the continuance of the migration North of the Canada Geese, the frogs mating choirs are getting louder through the night and the Humming Birds have returned to the feeder. Yesterday , the squirrels were scurrying around with the younger ones teasing the dogs. The dogs quickly get bored with their games and start to ignore them. This weekend, more of the cottagers were returning to their camps and opening them up for the upcoming Summer. Last night, the frogs started their migration from the swamp overland to the lake. The ones that decided to migrate through the kennel, certainly got the attention of the dogs.
The dogs enjoyed the warm weather and basked in the sunshine getting prepared for the warm, lazy days of Summer and knowing that next Fall won't be to far away.
This week, the forecast is for rainy days all week! Time will tell!
