Another busy week here at Miortuk with training, cleaning and preparing for Winter.
We were able to get in another four days training with three teams per day. The Open Team is looking good along with a revised 8 Dog Team. We went back to a 4 Dog Team to give more work to some young dogs.
Yoda and Tepeu have been moved up to the Point position on Cecile's Team to give them more experience at the front of the team to prepare them for running at Lead in the future.
Both Taisa and Cecile has been working with some of the dogs with running and bikejoring.
Last weekend, we burned all the old dog houses and old scrap wood along with some old chairs. While we were burning the wood my friend and neighbor came and joined us enjoying a few brews as we sat by the fire on a wet rainy afternoon. Even in the rain, life is pretty good here in the Northern Forest as we make the best of what nature has to offer.
Cecile made and completed her Team Training Line Up Board for listing the teams to be run for the day. Taisa did the lettering of the dogs names.

Cecile has also been busy painting the basement floor and storage shelves she has made.
Taisa has been continuing to work on cleaning and making Pumpkin Cookies.
They have also had plenty of free time to spend with the dogs in the kennel.
This week, we went and got twenty four bales of straw for dog bedding for the colder weather.
