It was time to fill in the holes and level out the kennel after a couple of years of dogs digging.
Thanks to my friend John, who came here with his tractor, the kennel looks great again.
Now is the task to keep it this way by racking in the holes as they happen.
The dogs do love to dig, especially Olive!
It has been a good week here just getting some chores done before the Black Flies arrive.
They are starting to hatch and make their presence known.
Ah yes, May/June "Black Fly Season"!
The Hummingbirds have returned and are nesting.
Soon the feeder will be very busy.
I saw a female fox strolling by the kennel yesterday on her search for food to feed her kits.
Yes, it is enjoyable to watch Nature unfold!
