This week my new Handler/Trainees arrived here on Wednesday from Germany.
Already, Judith Wundke & Julian Krukenberg are making a difference with the training and preparing the kennel for Winter. They are very quick learners and have almost mastered the dogs names and have learned how to harness dogs. They are quickly picking up the routine for watering pre-run, post-run and feeding.
With Judith and Julian's help, we have repaired a couple of dog houses for the puppies and have now the remaining four puppies in the kennel with the adults.
This week was also good to get the dogs back on a regular training schedule and with tomorrows run, we get in three days of training this week and then back to fours days next week. Also next week, we will be upping the miles per run and slowing the dogs down a little until they get used to the increased distance.
