Soon, the area will be busy with the Summer Vacationers.
This was a good week to do some tasks left over from last season and in preparation for the coming season.
Time to wash all the parkas, bibs and harnesses and then put everything away for the Summer.
There is some work to be done in the kennel. But, it can wait until after the bug season.
The dogs are enjoying chasing the Butterflies and they seem to be more in abundance this year. It is fun to watch the dogs jump and try to catch them as they flutter around the kennel.
Also, this week, the frogs have started their migration from the swamp to the lake. This was evidenced by one that didn't make it through Lena's area!
The flies are still bountiful and the mosquitoes are plentiful especially around dusk and dawn. Even the Deer Flies and the Stable Flies are making their presence known.
As the joke goes: there are two seasons here, Winter and Flies!
Due to the mosquitoes at dusk, it is very difficult to stay out very long to capture the beautiful photos of the sunsets this week.
But, I was able to capture a few!
Photos, that is!
So what do you do when you don't want to venture out side?
Cook!
Until next week......
