"A Great Week Here In The Northern Forest!"

This week was nothing out of the ordinary.
But, that is what makes living here great!
Last weekend, friends came up and we had great BBQ, leisurely times boating on the lake enjoying the scenery,great conversations and  some liquid libations.
The above three photos shows, even on wet/cloudy days, the tranquillity of the forest still prevails.
I also included a couple of photos showing why I am truly blessed living here with my best friends and the love they have to share.
This week the heat/humidity has returned.
But, it will be short last and with the passing storms, the comfortable temperatures will return.
The rain is good for the forest and the prevention of forest fires as this is the peak of vacation season up here.
The mosquitoes are still very plentiful and even this is a good thing keeping many vacationers away.
Only the hardy and real naturalists of the forest survive.
The dogs are returning to life here without Cobalt.
However, for several nights, they called out to her in song looking for her unique voice.
Life in the forest goes on.
