"A Great Finish To 2015 And A Great Start To 2016 In The Northern Forest!"

We finally got snow on the 29th of December for at total of 30+ cm and for the week we were able to get in four days of training.
Due to the layoff, we started the week with two days running 4.5 miles, then one day running 10 miles and finishing the week with a fast 4.5 mile runs.
​The dogs are doing great and the teams are shaping to being nice cohesive units.
We also added a new addition to the kennel, Venus, due to the generosity of Rosaire Perron.
Venus is an enthusiastic yearling that can run anywhere in the team, including lead. On her first run here, we ran her at Point for the first half of the 4.5 mile trail and then Lead for the balance of the run.
We were very impressed with her performance and speed!
Venus fits into the kennel perfectly, as she is very sociable, a good eater/drinker and very quiet.
