Another year is coming to a close and three months of training to finish the year has resulted in just under 200 miles of running on both teams.
Here we have taken advantage of the every opportunity of running possible.
The weather here has been very unstable with the arrival of early snow, rain/freezing rain in late December causing a 7 day layoff. This month, we have had temperatures in the -20's and highs of +4.
We had the chance to run on Friday with some fresh snow and plus degree temperatures and Friday night into Saturday morning rain & freezing rain shutting down the training until some more snow to cover the hard/icy trails.
The dogs are doing great, but are anxious to run.
You have to be patience and wait for good conditions not to injure the dogs.
The puppies are growing fast and are now walking, playing and looking to explore.
It is a fun stage in their lives watching them develop!
