" IT WAS A GREAT WEEK HERE AT MIORTUK!"

Yes, this was a great week here in the Northern Forest.
The training runs were great showing the improvement in conditioning, the continued development in the new leaders and culminating today with two exceptional runs.
The pups have settled into their new environment without any problem and are enjoying the new opportunities for interaction with each other. They are also are having fun exploring their new surroundings.
Fabian is learning quickly, enjoying the freedom of the forest and the interaction with the dogs.
The weather this week was wet with rain most of the week and finishing with snow flurries all day today. Even with all the rain, we were able to get in the scheduled training runs. This  coming week is forecasting cold, dry days. Perfect for running Sled Dogs through the forest with all its brilliant colored trees in fall foliage.
