"SUNNY, HOT & HUMID: FINALLY A BEAUTIFUL SUMMER WEEK IN THE NORTHERN FOREST!"
Picture
Yes, it was a beautiful week here allowing for enjoyment of Summer activities. Here is a photo taken while kayaking in a beautiful, peaceful bay. This one of my favorite spots to just sit in the kayak and drift in the calm water of the bay listening to the sound of silence.
Finally the kennel is drying out and the dogs are enjoying the change.
Last number of seasons there has been problems with Cluster Flies biting the tips of the dogs ears. Last year, I started adding garlic powder to the dogs feed and this year it is proving to be effective as there are very few flies this year. The ones that are here don't seem to like the garlic in the blood and are not biting the dogs ears. This is a big relief to see the dogs not being bothered by these pesty flies.
All is well here in the Northern Forest!
Until next week........
