Like Mike Myers and his arch rival in the Austin Powers movies, Charlot is baby sitting his protege Bruce(Minnie-me). Bruce is my friends 5 month old German Shepherd. This week we had to baby sit Bruce for my friend and Charlot took over teaching him some of his tricks. It was fun too watch.
The puppies also had a great week, as my neighbors grand girls came over to my place to play with them. This was great for the socialization of the puppies and fun for the girls. 
The weather this week was more rain !!!!

Even with all the wet/stormy weather, nature can give a beautiful sunset.
It was another wet week here again with a couple of nice days. This has been another wet summer; the same ,so far, as last year. There is definitely a major change in weather patterns taking place here in the Northern Forest!
The plus side is the Black Flies are finally gone and the Mosquitoes are in abundance. The good thing about the Mosquitoes is that they are only a real problem at dusk.
The pups are growing rapidly now and are more active. They love to rough house in the pen, especially after eating. Their volume of food intake needs to be increased every couple of days. It is a great deal of fun playing with them and watching their individual personalities develop. Last week, I took individual photos of them to mark their 8 weeks since birth. That was interesting! See puppy section for results.

Yes, it was another rainy week here in the northern Forest. The good news was there was also two days of beautiful sunshine! The photo,taken in the rain, shows an interesting sunset. The week ended with a mixed day on Sunday, however it seems that the worst of the Black Fly Season is gone.

The dogs are all doing well considering all the wet weather and the severe Thunder storms that passed through this week. We were fortunate here as there was no damage.

Today, the sun returned after two weeks of rain. It was a beautiful day and greatly appreciated. Even the flies were not to bad. Everything is very green and lush. Lets hope that the good weather will stay for a while!
